About Me
I have been writing stories for as long as I could hold a pen—and occasionally, on the back of fast-food receipts when I was supposed to be working the kitchen timers.
My love for the strange, the imaginative, and the out-of-this-world started early. As a kid, I’d raid the school library and practically run home to devour the latest Goosebumps book. Years later, during a family road trip across the USA, I spent the entire journey staring out the window only long enough to turn the pages of the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy omnibus. That early love for witty, mind-bending fiction eventually evolved into a deep appreciation for the hard science of The Martian, the nostalgia of Ready Player One, and a not-so-secret obsession with military Sci-Fi audiobooks.
For a decade, I took that love for big ideas into the classroom. As a teacher, my favorite moments were designing open-ended tasks that let students untether their creativity. I loved watching them build things I never could have predicted. Today, I want that same relationship with my readers—I write stories that I hope will spark theories, debates, and a sense of shared wonder.
Whether I’m telling romantic comedies to my wife, magical adventures to my son, or plotting out-of-this-world escapades, I firmly believe that characters make a universe come alive. I’m endlessly inspired by ordinary people—characters who aren’t special or chosen, but have extraordinary events thrust upon them and choose to rise to the occasion anyway.
Now, as a husband, dad, and self-made handyman, I may have grown up, but I’ve never outgrown that imagination. When I’m not dreaming up new worlds, you can usually find me walking my two dogs, tackling a DIY project, or in my ultimate happy place: listening to an audiobook on a Sunday afternoon, fresh chicken roasting in the oven, while I make Yorkshire puddings completely from scratch.
